Maternity and Pregnancy - Morning Sickness in Pregnancy

Morning sickness can present a problem for many pregnant mothers. This is usually a normal bodily reaction to the changes occurring within the body – and usually manages to resolve itself after the first three months of pregnancy. Always inform your doctor, or midwife, of any sickness during the term of pregnancy. He/she will either be able to assure you that this is just nature’s way of your body coping with the growing foetus - or if he/she considers that your maternity morning sickness, or sickness during any other times of the day, warrants further investigation, he/she will be able to advise on the appropriate steps which should be taken.

Always keep yourself fairly fit during your pregnancy. Walking and doing gentle and appropriate exercises are all a part of the scenario of a good pregnancy lifestyle. Under no circumstances must you be involved in any exercise or jobs which involve stretching, pulling or lifting of heavy articles.
