Maternity Wear - Proud to be Pregnant in Maternity WearGone are the days of hiding “the lump”. Here are the days of being proud to be pregnant. This is the time when you have every excuse and good reason to keep buying new clothes for yourself – so try to take every advantage of this situation. Enjoy yourself – but always try to keep within your budget. Maternity wear comes in all manner of fabrics and styles – and it is generally accepted that cotton wear enriches the appearance of most pregnant women – and is comfortable to wear during pregnancy. Starting with the undergarments, these will need to be replaced on a fairly regular basis. With regards to the covering of the lower region, this usually only entails purchasing something in a larger size from the general ranges of ladies underwear. But as your breasts increase in size, it is important to ensure that you are wearing the correct bra size throughout your pregnancy. There are wonderful collections of maternity bras – including sleep bras. Nursing bras will become a necessary purchase - if you have chosen to breast feed your baby. Regarding the outer garments, initially it will probably not be necessary to exchange your regular clothing for maternity wear – but usually from around 3 months onwards, you will start to notice an expansion around the waist and stomach areas. This is the time to start pampering yourself. Tour the shops and internet, as often as you feel it is necessary, to view the wonderful lines in maternity tops, maternity dresses, and maternity jeans and trousers.
