Baby Birthday Cakes & Party FoodThe party food, for little ones, needs very careful thought. Assuming the babies are all over the age of one year old, the parents of the party baby may like to prepare different special savoury dishes - which have been well liquidised. Sweeter delights such as jellies and trifles, made in individual tiny dishes, are usually well appreciated by most toddlers. If crisps, or sandwiches, are on the baby party menu , always ask the child’s adult supervisor if these are acceptable for their baby son/daughter/charge. And with regards to birthday cakes, never just offer a young one a slice of cake. Slices of birthday cake may be more appropriate to supply to the senior guest parents and supervisors at the party. Liquid refreshments, such as red wines and white wines, bottles of fresh orange and water, and/or possibly tea and coffee, should be made available for all the adult guests who will be tending to the needs of the little ones at the party. Also, - as it is highly unlikely that baby foods, and toddler foods, will be appreciated by the older party guests, - a tasty finger buffet is often provided as a catering requirement - for any parents and nannies who will be present at the baby tea-party. Different assortments of party nibbles, such as crisps and cheese straws, are also a perfectly acceptable bite to eat. Just always ensure that any food and drink, which could be damaging to babies and toddlers, - is kept well out of harm’s reach.
