Holiday Vacations - 'Don't Forget List'

There are thousands of different types of family holidays to consider. From family camping holidays in the countryside – to family holiday cruises, plus all the specific action holidays, religious holidays, et al, - the options for consideration are endless.
In order to stay focused, and not forget a single thing, for many people, - a ‘Don’t Forget List', of holiday reminders, is a vital part of proceedings. This can be added to, and referred to, at any time. The inclusion of further information will certainly need adding, at various times, before the date of departure. Apart from listing all the regular day and night clothes for each member of the family, as well as underwear and swimwear, don't forget to list towels, plasters, sun creams, medicines, and any other vital commodities (and not so vital commodities such as cosmetics and hairbrushes). Make mention also of 'reminders' on 'Don't Forget List' - like turning off the gas and cancelling the newspapers.
Remember to include taking beloved pets to catteries and dog kennels, on such-and-such a time (maybe on the date previous to departure), and asking neighbours to keep a watch on the house etc.
View the list days preceeding holiday date - and on the day of departure.
Think about every eventuality that could arise, for any member of your family, during the time away - and put something appertaining on the list, if appropriate.
Holiday insurance is always advisable. Sort out holiday car rental if this will be required. If you are travelling abroad, - think: injections, passports and visas. If you are not travelling in your own family’s vehicle, book the mode of transport(s) you will be requiring – as well as the holiday hotel, camp site or wherever it is that you have decided you would will be spending your family holiday/vacation.

In order to keep tensions to a minimum, your family holiday will likely be discussed well in advance of the likely date of departure, - taking into consideration the likes and needs of every member of the family, plus the necessary holiday care for any pets within the household.
